San Diego Highlights

Pictures of our homebased at Campland!!




Our life at Camp land has included mornings with flocks of birds on the estuary, biking to the ocean and hiking. A great place to be given knee deep in the city.

Trip to the San Diego Safari:





The Safari was a treat. We went with some new friends from Olympia for the day. Great setting and wonderful view of these amazing animals. Started with a tram ride around the 800 acre park. We saw giraffes,  camels, antelope ,cheetah, rhinoceros and many more that we cannot remember. In the fenced areas there were gorillas, condor, mountain lion, and many different birds. Its a must do if you are in San Diego.
 
And a trip to the
Sunset Cliffs near Point Loma.

    The safari is not the same as the zoo, right? Looks like you got to see muchas animales up close. Looks fun.

    The woman sitting next to Ada in the picture looks like she could be Ada's sister.

    Jane. The safari is different tjan the zoo. Both great places to visit. And I will pass on yoir comment to Gail. They live overlooking Hope Island. Come to San Diego every year.
