March Update from San Diego- What a Ride!!!

Greetings Family and Friends!
As we develop this blog entry the sun is peaking out over Mission Bay after a night of rain. We have had a good bit of rain this winter in Southern California.
Since our last blog, we have been to Cabo for our yearly trek. Had a great 2 weeks, one of them with Kelsey and Sheri who got a break from their Walla Walla winter.  There wasn't much concern of this virus in Mexico at that time, so we got a break.  We are including some pictures of our Cabo adventure.
As we got back to San Diego the realities of the virus hit us.  We have changed our plans and are staying put at this point thru April. We will then hit north to the NW. It is hard to know what is best for our family, for our community and for ourselves. But, like everyone, we are making the best decisions and moving forward.  There are a few pictures of our backyard at the campground. It is a beautiful estuary with many wildflowers beginning to bloom. Sasha and I kayaked the other day and saw a great number of birds hanging out in this setting.
We continue to be impressed with San Diego, the location and the people. During this current situation the town is really coming together to support folks in need. Quite impressive, as we know many communities are doing.
In closing we wanted to sharing a little tidbit from a spiritual gathering we were at that has been helpful to us:
"Breath in the gifts; breath out the Gratitude!!"
Love to all!
