We have been at the Morro Bay State Campground for 3 days after having a great visit with family in Grass Valley. Weather has been mixed. Seems like we brought the NW weather south. Had a great kayak into town and have been going on several hikes. A bluff hike at Montana Ora State Park was especially moving. There is a lighted boat show this weekend and we plan on more hikes and bike rides. We are staying dry, fed and happy and very grateful for the world around us. Our to best to all!!! Ada and Rick

Love that rock. There used to be a peregrine falcon nest on top of it. And the MOntangne do Oro Bluffs hold many memories. I remember camping out at that campground when Lianna was 10 months old - our first mother/daughter trip. We also used to go to Hazard Canyon, which is just down the road amidst the eucalyptus trees. Its a beautiful hike, really great tide pools and a lovely long sandy beach. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteJane. Thanks for your comments. Yes the area has so many beautiful areas to create memories from. It is amazing they were tearing that rock down for rock at one point. We hope to bike the bluff Trail today. And we saw that Campground you referenced. A beautiful place. Our best to John. Talk soon.
